Driving on I-75, well over two hours from home, I hit a massive rock and completely blew out a tire. I was all the way down to the rim by the time I got to the side of the road, so I threw on the spare and Googled tire shops nearby. Allen's came up with strong reviews, so I stopped in. I thought the rim was ruined, so dollar signs were racing through my head for a new rim and tire. However, the team at Allen's was absolutely amazing. The tech actually took time to smooth out the inner part of the rim, saving it from the junkyard. They had a new tire ready to go, and it was balanced and on the car in less than 15 minutes. Allen charged an unbelievably good price, and I was on my way. They could have easily gouged me, but it clearly wasn't even a consideration. I hope I never have a need to come back, but I DO hope that if I have another tire problem, I'm close to Allen's.
You can save well over $100-$200 on a new set compared to Sears, Firestone or any of the Big Box Franchise Stores.
